Vani Murarka, is the creator and co-editor of Kaavyaalaya. She has also developed a unique software - Geet Gatiroop, that helps a poet refine the structure of his poem.

Vani writes primarily in English. Her first book is "12 Drops of Silence". With formal education in Physics from Kolkata and Computer Science from USA, she has been working in the software industry for many years. Along with her professional work, the majority of her time is spent working on Kaavyaalaya, Geet Gatiroop and writing.
