pagaDaNDee par ve baiThee theen paa(n)v pasaare
peḌon ne the phagunaahaT ke bol uchaare

unhen yaad the
RShiyon ne jo mantr sooryakul ke gaaye hain

vanakanyaa kee ha(n)see - neh usake hiraday kaa
unhen sa(n)joo - chha(n)T jaayegaa dhundh samay kaa

inhen n Tero
ghire shahar men dhue(n)-dhundh ke jo saaye hain

aadhee raaton ke nirNay hain sabhaagaar men
Ta(n)gee hueen sooraj kee chhaviyaa(n) raajadvaar men

unhen dishaa do
jo shaahon ke sanvaadon se bharamaaye hai
