Geet Kavi Ki Vyatha - 2
is geet-kavi ko kyaa huaa?
ab gunagunaataa tak naheen.

isane rache jo geet
jag ne patrikaaon
men paḌhe.
mukharit hue
to bhajan-jaise
anaginat hoThon chaḌhe.

honThon chaḌhe, ve man-bindhe
ab geet gaataa tak naheen.

anuraag, raag
viraag par sau
vyang-shar isane sahe.
jab-jab hue
geele nayan tab-tab
lagaaye kahakahe.

vah aTTahaason kaa dhanee
ab muskuraataa tak naheen.

melon tamaashon men
lie isako phiree
aavaaragee.
kuchh DhoonDhatee-see
dRShTi men har shaam
madhushaalaa jagee.

ab bheeḌ dikhatee hai jidhar
us or jaataa tak naheen.
