Kaun Rang Phagun Range
kaun rang phaagun range, rangataa kaun vasant,
prem rang phaagun range, preet kusumbh vasant.

romarom kesar ghulee, chandan mahake ang,
kab jaane kab dho gayaa, phaagun saare rang.

rachaa mahotsav peet kaa, phaagun khele phaag,
saa(n)son men kastooriyaa(n), boye meeThee aag.

palaT palaT mausam take, bhauchak nirakhe dhoop,
rah rahakar chitave havaa, ye phaagun ke roop.

man Tesoo Tesoo huaa tan ye huaa gulaal
ankhiyon, ankhiyon bo gayaa, phaagun kaee savaal.

hoThonhoThon chuppiyaa(n), aa(n)khon, aa(n)khon baat,
gulamohar ke khvaab men, saḌak ha(n)see kal raat.

anaayaas TooTe sabhee, sanyam ke pratibandh,
phaagun likhe kapol par, ras se bheede chhand.

ankhiyon se jaadoo kare, najaron maare moonTh,
gudanaa gode preet ke, bole sau sau jhooTh.

paaraa, paaras, padminee, paanee, peer, palaash,
prany, prakar, peetaabh ke, apane hain itihaas.

bhoolee, bisaree yaad ke, kachchepakke rang,
der talak gaate rahe, kuchh phaagun ke sang.
