Punam Sinha was born and brought up in Patna, Bihar. She did M.Sc. Biology from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzzafarpur. These days she is living the life of a housewife with her family in Alwar, Bihar. Punam started writing poetry from school days itself. Her writings have been published in several Hindi publications.
