Born in a family of farmers in a small village Hisampur in Bijnaur, Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Parul Tomar has been awarded Ph.D. in Hindi Literature. She is a freelance writer and self taught artist. Her words and artworks reflect Indian culture and support positive outlook. Her poems, articles, satires, memoirs and critical appreciations keep getting published in national level magazines and papers of repute. She has exhibited India's cultural heritage in many parts of the country.
Her solo collection of poems "Sanjha-Bati" has been positively received in Hindi literature.
