Satya Mishra is originally from Muzaffarpur, Bihar. She was born and brought up in Kolkata. She was influenced by Bengali culture since childhood. Poetry recital is an integral part of any program in Bengal. She has always been interested in Hindi, English and Bengali literature. She did her Honours graduation in English Literature from Kolkata University Jaipuria College. She is actually a reader of literature and feels connected to literature like meditation. In the same process, poetry stories become her ultimate expression.
