Born in 1952 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Education - B.A. Hons, Two collection of poems published - Sach ke Saaye Mein, Kavita : Dukh ki Nadi. One collection published in Bengali - Roti Aur Kavita.
Her poems have been translated into Oriya, English, Swedish etc. She has been the editor of many books and also translated Vietnamese, Swedish and Icelandic poems from English to Hindi.
She stands for gender equality and humanitarian values based on science and logic.
