Indira Kislay is originally from BaalaaghaT district of Madhya Pradesh. She has made her literary presence in seven books, twenty-five collaborative collections and hundreds of newspapers and magazines. She has also written columns in some newspapers like Lokmat Samaachaar and Nav Bharat. Apart from poetry, she has also composed in genres like satire, haiku, short songs, short poems, very short stories, memoirs, reviews, stories etc.
