Braj Srivastava, a resident of Vidisha, has postgraduate degrees in English, Hindi and Mathematics. He works as a principal in the School Education Department. He has been the editor of the literary page of daily 'Vidrohi Dhara' for three years and also wrote columns in 'Navdunia' and 'Kalaa Samay'. He has received few local level honors including All India Divya Award.
